Battleship Kolleda's Information
Battleship Kolleda was scheduled to be launched in 810 AS, however several attacks made against Oder shipyard and upon the hull of the Kolleda itself caused its launch to be delayed almost by three years. During its time in service the battleship was chiefly used as a training ship with many recent officers of the Rheinland Military having undergone command training aboard the Kolleda. The ship was also used to instruct and familiarise enlisted crew scheduled to serve on Bismarck class warships.
Previously, the Kolleda was positioned close to the Hamburg gate in the Hudson system as a result of the jump gate crisis and to serve as base of operations for the various repair crews that were tasked with restoring the gate. During its time the ship also performed traffic regulation duties, monitoring the resumed trade between Liberty and Rheinland brought about by the ceasefire between the two nations.
After several months of peacetime, the Kolleda was requisitioned at the behest of the MND and relocated to the heart of the Thuringia system, where it remained until the war with Kusari necessitated its deployment to the Sigma cluster. The Kolleda now serves as an early warning post and first line of defense in the Sigma-21 system, a role with which the battlegroup's commanding officer, Rear Admiral Jürgen Lindauer, was not pleased.
While requests from Admiral Lindauer to have his ships redeployed to the front line have gone unanswered, this has not stopped the Kolleda's battlegroup from taking up an aggressive posture, and the Kolleda has frequently been seen launching raids into both Honshu and Sigma-59 with an imperialist zeal, prompting questions about the Admiral and his battlegroup from Thuringia.
